The one thing that mars Andrew Scott’s otherwise terror-inducing Moriarty for me is that he looks so much like the ex-friend who used to come over to my apartment in the middle of the night to sing show tunes and drink all my beer, and who eventually threw pie at me at Denny’s and then stole my favorite lipstick and wrote “Tiresome” on my window with it.
